Pilot Hill is an unincorporated community in the rural regions of northwestern El Dorado County, California. The neighborhood is bordered by the towns of Cool to the north, Coloma to the east, and the Zee Estates to the south. The region features various farmlands, ranches, vineyards, and vast land areas of untouched California countryside. There are excellent outdoor trails in the region that are perfect for hiking, and large open spaces where your family can go for horseback riding. The community is an hour away from Downtown Sacramento making it the ideal home for families who want to live outside the city but still be close enough where the drive is not a hassle. Real Estates in the town of Pilot Hill are mostly rural homesteads, home acreages, and farmlands. These are especially great for buyers looking for agricultural land where they can grow crops or raise livestock. Most of the community is spread out, but there are local community centers, supermarkets, and other businesses along Coloma Road close to the town center including the local post office and fire station. Schools are a drive away from the community since there are no available institutions within Pilot Hill.
