Sierra Elementary School is an International Baccalaureate World School located at 11000 Thompson Way Placerville, California which aims to promote and educational environment for young people to become confident, life-long learners. Due to its primary focus for student-centered learning, Sierra strives for inquiry-based principles and concepts in instructional settings. 

The Edwin Markham Middle School provides students with a high-quality education, to develop life learners and socially responsible global learners. One of the first magnet programs established in the Los Angeles Unified School District, their program has a rich and long history of promoting health careers and issues to students and the community. Edwin Markham students are privileged to receive an education with an emphasis in health and becoming college-ready. 

Located along 561 Canal St., Placerville California, the El Dorado High School which currently enrolls 2,400 students. This public high school is home to El Dorado Hawks Marching Band which past achievements include performing in the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony and top honors in two trips to the Hawaii International Competition. Their school facilities include a gymnasium and theatre department.
